Our vision is to: This organization will be directed predominately by citizens of the Cherokee Nation. However, non-citizen Cherokees, family members, and non-Indians with an interest in the Cherokee Nation are also welcome to participate. Schedule of Regular San Diego Cherokee Community Meetings. We are looking for a new regular meeting place. If you have any suggests, please let us know. You are invited to the Third Annual San Diego Cherokee Community Spring Meeting and Picnic-Potluck . Sunday, May 22, 2011 - -- Time: 1:00pm to 4:00pm The meeting is at Lake Murray Park. We will have a Cherokee Blowgun demonstration and play Cherokee Marbles. We will also count the votes in our annual election. The SDCC will provide the main course and drinks. Please bring the following: Last name A - H: Desserts. Last Name I-P: Side Dishes.
