Markie "Bean" Delmege
Known as "Bean," Marlie Delmege came by the KUSI's studios on December 15, 2005 with with his mother Amy. Bean has epidermolysis bullosa. This condition makes his skin very fragile. Despite many trips to the hospital, Bean's spirit remains undaunted. Among the things he likes to do is play the drums. Through a series of friends, Jim Bogios (of the Counting Crows) heard of Bean's musical interest. Jim arranged for Bean to get a top-of-the-line drum set. Bean brought the drums to KUSI and performed for us. Jim even joined us by phone.
