Baseball Pitcher Randy Jones
Baseball Pitcher Randy Jones visited us on September 1, 2009 to talk about his career and the Park
View Little League team which just won the Little League World Series.
I joked with him that Goose Gossage was named to the Baseball Hall of Fame just after he appeared on
Good Morning San Diego. Randy said that would never happen with his record of only 100 wins.
However, he won the Cy Young award, and not many pitchers had done that. I reminded him that even
Cy Young had not won the Cy Young award. He got a big laugh out of that.
