Former Astronaut Sally Ride, Ph.D.
Sally Ride is musch more than just a former astronaut. She teaches Physics at UCSD and runs several
science outreach programs.

Sally was America's first woman in space. She flew on space shuttles in 1983 and 1984. Both flights were on the Challenger.
Sally has a doctorate in physics. She is a professor at the University of California in San Diego.
