"The Original Tommy's" and Bob Auerbach
"The Original Tommy's" is one of Los Angeles' premier hamburger and hot dog chains. They are the
favorite of many Angelinos. Their signature hamburger features chile with many secret ingredients.
Bob Auerbach is the step-son of Tommy's founder Tommy Koulax. Tommy passed on in 1992. Bob now runs
this family owned and operated enterprise. Their 60th 'hamburger shack' has just opened here in
San Diego. Bob came by the KUSI studios on January 26, 2006 to shows us how Tommy's famous foods
are made.

The smell was so good that people started to show up from all over the building.

Floor Manage Jorje Lira fixes Bob's microphone.

Tommy's also serves hot dogs and tamales. Yes, they are all served with chili.

I cannot tell you the secret ingredient. It is a secret.

Bob Paulson from the KUSI graphics department agrees to try one of Tommy's chilicheese burgers.

As you can see, Bob is already a fan!
