Ben Vereen
Wednesday, September 5, 2007 - Ben Vereen is an award winning actor, dancer, and singer,
and he joined us this morning to talk about his latest projects.
Ben won a Tony for his performance in Pippin. He was also nominated for his role in Jesus
Christ Superstar. He has been nominated for 3 Emmys, including for his perhaps best known role of
Chicken George in the mini-series "Roots."
He told us why he is here in San Diego from September 6th thru the 9th.
