The following pictures are of, or from, the ruins at Yagul. Yagul is a few miles from Mitla and southeast of Oaxaca, Mexico. Other than the young woman you see in a couple of these photos, I had the place to myself for most of my stay here. It cost 27 pesos to enter. The hill overlooking the site is about 300 feet higher.
















I went inside of the triple tomb. You can see by my walking stick, the entrance is about 3 feet (1 meter) high.
















This sign says the Yagul ballcourt is the second largest in Mesoamerica, second only to Chitchen Itza.















This is the first of two pictures of Yagul from the overlooking hill. The straight road is a little over 1 mile long. It leads to Hwy 190 (the road between Mitla and Oaxaca).
